Rainy Day Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb ground beef
    1 (12 ounce) can diced tomatoes, juice included
    1 (12 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
    1 cup beef broth
    2 teaspoons salt
    1 teaspoon pepper
    1 teaspoon oregano
    1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
    water, as needed
    cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)
    saltine crackers (optional)
Preparation
    Brown beef, drain fat.
    Add rest of ingredients through red pepper flakes.
    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until beans and tomatoes are tender, and chili has desired consistency. If chili cooks down too much, or you enjoy your chili a little thinner, add water as needed and bring chili back to a simmer until you reach desired consistency.
    Top with cheese and crackers.
