Golden Pumpkin Cake With Cinnamon Frosting - cooking recipe

CAKE
1 package duncan hines moist butter recipe cake mix
3 eggs
1 cup water
1 cup solid pack pumpkin
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup chopped walnuts
FROSTING
1 (16 ounce) container vanilla frosting
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (to garnish)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Grease and flour two 8\" round cake pans.
FOR CAKE: Combine cake mix, eggs, water, pumpkin and spices in a large bowl.
Beat for 4-5 minutes.
Stir in the cup of walnuts.
Pour batter evenly into the pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool before frosting.
FOR FROSTING: In a bowl, combine frosting, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
Mix well and frost cake.
Use walnuts for garnish.
