Blended Salsa (Typical Restaurant Style) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans tomatoes, drained (leave some liquid for thinner salsa)
    1/2 onion, finely diced (whatever kind of onion you like)
    2 teaspoons minced garlic
    1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
    1 teaspoon kosher salt
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1 jalapeno, seeded and cut into pieces
    1/4 cup cilantro
Preparation
    Place all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend on low 10-30 seconds depending on the desired consistency. While it tastes great right away, you get the best flavor if you let it sit for a few hours or overnight.
