Fergy'S Cornbread To Die For - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 sweet onion
1 (8 1/4 ounce) can creamed corn
1 (7 ounce) box cornbread mix
1 cup sour cream
1 cup grated cheese
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dill weed (optional)

Preparation

preheat oven 400 deg.
Dice the onion.
Saute in butter.
Combine cornbread mix, egg, milk, cream corn and Tabasco.
Pour in a 8x8 greased baking pan.
Bake for 15 minutes.
While baking, combine sour cream, salt, 1/2 cup cheese and onions.
When the bread has baked for 15 minutes, spread the sour cream mix over the top evenly.
Sprinkle 1/2 cheese on top.
Bake for 15 minutes.
