Hamburger Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb ground beef
    1/4 onion, diced
    12 -15 red potatoes
    1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Brown ground beef.
    Half way through browning, add chopped onion and cook until hamburger is done and onions are transparent.
    Slice red potatoes.
    Put 1/3 of hamburger onion mix in bottom of 8x8\" casserole dish.
    Put 1/3 of red potatoes on top of hamburger mix.
    Continue to layer, ending with potatoes on top.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Pour mushroom soup over top.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
