Navy Bean Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 carrots, sliced
    2 celery ribs, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cups ham, diced
    1 1/2 cups dried navy beans
    1 (1 2/3 ounce) package dry vegetable soup mix
    1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    8 cups water
    1 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
    Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours. Discard bay leaf.
