Wine Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups riesling wine or 2 cups fruity white wine
    1/2 cup water
    4 medium eggs
    1/2 cup sugar
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a double boiler and set over (but not touching) boiling water.
    Cook, beating mixture constantly and vigorously with a wire whisk, until custard thickens, about 10 minutes.
    Refrigerate and serve cool.
