Strawberries Romanoff - La Madeleine'S - Mocking Bird Ln, Dallas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup whipping cream, heavy
    1 pint ice cream, vanilla, softened
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    1/4 - 1/2 cup Cointreau liqueur
    2 quarts strawberries, hulled, halved
    1/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted
Preparation
    Beat whipping cream in a large bowl at high speed until soft peaks form; set aside.
    Beat ice cream in a medium bowl until smooth.
    Fold in whipped cream. Stir in lemon juice and liqueur; set aside.
    Combine strawberries with powdered sugar; serve with suace.
    Sauce can be stored in teh refrigerator for up to 3 days. Sauce will separate- stir before serving.
