Always Perfect Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    4 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
    2 teaspoons sugar
    1/2 cup margarine
    3/4 cup milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
    In a large bowl, sift together all dry ingredients. Cut in margarine until mixture looks like coarse oatmeal. Make a well in the center of the dry mixture and pour the milk in the well. Stir dough until it begins to pull together. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface.
    Press dough together and roll out until 3/4 inch thick. Cut into 2-u=inch round biscuits. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake in preheated oven for 9 minutes, or until golden brown.
