Roasted Strawberries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled
    1/2 cup sugar
Preparation
    Pre heat oven to 450 degrees.
    In a bowl, combine strawberries and sugar.
    Transfer strawberries to a rimmed baking sheet.
    Roast in oven for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until soft.
    Let the pan cool on a rack.
    Put strawberries and juice in a bowl, cover, and refrigerate.
    Serve over vanilla ice cream (or use as a topping for any dessert desired.
