Savory Stuffed Rambutan - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 garlic cloves
10 ml crushed coriander roots
vegetable oil (for frying)
125 g ground pork
50 ml coarse ground roasted peanuts
20 ml soy sauce
60 ml brown sugar
black pepper
1 chopped de-seeded chili pepper
30 ml fresh coriander leaves or 30 ml fresh parsley
500 ml peeled and de-seeded rambutans
Preparation

Fry crushed garlic and coriander roots in oil. When garlic is golden, add all other ingredients except the fruit (rambutans). Cook and stir until the mixture is browned and fairly dry. Add fruit and cook, mixing well, for 2 minutes.
Serve as an entree, hors-d'oeuvre, or as a main course with rice.
