Almond Snack Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter
    2 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup flour
    2 teaspoons almond extract
    2 tablespoons sliced almonds
    confectioners' sugar, to dust
    2 -3 teaspoons Amaretto (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat over to 325 degrees. Butter a 8x8 pan.
    Melt butter in microwave.
    Using a fork, mix in 2 eggs. Then add in flour, sugar, almond extract.
    Pour into pan. Top with the almonds. Make for 45 minutes.
    When cool, you can dust the top with confectioners sugar. Instead, I use 3-4 tablespoons of confectioners sugar and added amaretto to create a glaze and drizzle that on top.
