Apple Chicken Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb cubed boneless skinless chicken breast
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    1/2 cup sliced onion
    1 cup carrot, thinly sliced
    1 teaspoon dried basil
    1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
    1 cup pea pods
    1 tablespoon water
    1 medium golden delicious apple, cored and thinly sliced
    2 cups cooked rice
Preparation
    Stir-fry cubed chicken in 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick skillet until lightly browned and cooked through.
    Remove from skillet.
    in the same skillet, stir-fry onion, carrots and basil in 1-1/2 teaspoon oil until carrots are tender.
    Stir in pea pods and water.
    Stir-fry 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat. Stir in apples.
    Add mixture to chicken.
    Serve hot over cooked rice.
