Easy Vegetable Batter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup water
1 quart canola oil
Preparation

Sift ingredients together.
Add egg and water.
Beat until smooth.
Pour oil into a deep skillet and heat to medium heat.
Dip vegetables a few at a time into the batter.
Drop into heated oil and fry 2 to 3 minutes, turn one time.
Cook until brown.
Drain on paper towels.
