Chocolate Chip Angel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 cup margarine
    1 egg
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans (I usually leave them out. They interupt the softness of the bar.)
    1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fareinheight. Grease an 8 by 8 inch baking pan.
Combine flour and baking soda in a medium bowl. Mix well.
In a seperate large bowl, use a mixer to blend the sugar and butter. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy.
Then, add the flour mixture, chocolate chips, and pecans if you decide to use them. Blend at a low speed until just mixed.
Transfer the dough into the cooking pan and level it out. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean, but the center is still soft.
    Cut into bars and enjoy!
