Vermont Maple Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 quarts apple cider
    1 cup pure maple syrup
    1 cinnamon stick
    4 -5 whole cloves
    1 lemon, sliced for garnish
Preparation
    Combine cider, syrup, cinnamon and cloves in a pot and heat thoroughly; DO NOT BOIL!
    Remove cloves and cinnamon stick and serve hot, garnished with a half lemon slice.
