Stay In Bed Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lbs beef stew meat
    2 onions, chopped
    3 carrots, peeled and sliced
    2 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1 (16 ounce) can peas, drained (optional)
    1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup or (10 1/2 ounce) can celery soup
    1/2 cup water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a casserole dish or roaster pan that has a TIGHT FITTING LID. Place in oven at 275 degrees for 5 hours or until meat very tender and sauce thick and bubbly.
