Hot Mulled Cider - German Glühmost - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups dry white wine (such as Riesling)
    4 cups apple cider
    1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 pinch ground cloves
    1 pinch cardamom
    honey, to taste
    fresh lemon slice, for garnish
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, combine wine, apple cider, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom.
    Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat (but do not boil).
    Add honey, to taste, and garnish with a lemon slice.
    Serve hot.
