Apple Oatmeal (Crock-Pot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups steel cut oats
    1/2 cup oat bran or 1/2 cup wheat berries
    2 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    3 1/2 cups water
    1 cup cranberry juice or 1 cup apple juice
    toasted walnuts (optional)
    wheat germ (optional)
Preparation
    In a slow cooker, combine oats, wheat berries, apples, cinnamon and vanilla.
    Stir in water and juice.
    Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or overnight.
    Stir well.
    Top with walnuts and/or wheatgerm or your favorite toppings.
