Root Beer Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 quarts popped corn
    2 cups brown sugar
    1 cup butter
    1/2 cup light Karo syrup
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 -2 tablespoon root beer extract
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Bring first 6 ingredients barely to a boil. Remove from heat. Add last 2 ingredients & stir.
    Pour over popped corn & mix well.
    Bake 250\u00b0 for one hour; stirring every 15 minute.
