Grandmother'S Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    29 ounces diced tomatoes
    1 cup sugar
    2/3 cup apple cider vinegar
    1 cup onion, chopped
    3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients in a large saucepan.
    Add the vinegar; tomatoes, and onions; mix well.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Continue to cook, uncovered until it is reduced by half.
    Cool.
    Cover tightly and store in the refrigerator.
