Cranberry Muffins With Butter Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 tablespoons butter
    1/4 cup water
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/4 cup evaporated milk
    1 cup raw cranberries
    1 cup flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup evaporated milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
    Mix butter, water, sugar and evaporated milk or cream. Add sifted dry ingredients and cranberries. Spoon into greased muffin tin and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Meanwhile, make the sauce. Combine the last four ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Serve muffins with sauce. My kids break their muffins apart and drizzle a little sauce over the whole thing.
