Wine-Baked Chicken And Artichoke Hearts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying chicken, quartered
    2 (14 ounce) cans artichoke hearts, drained
    1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
    3/4 cup dry sherry or 3/4 cup white wine
    1/4 teaspoon oregano
    1 teaspoon fresh basil or 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place chicken in baking pan (remove skin).
    Arrange artichokes around chicken.
    Combine tomato sauce, wine, spices, salt and pepper.
    Pour over chicken.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.
