Marinated Red Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 cup red wine vinegar
    1/4 cup sliced green onion
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1 teaspoon sweet Hungarian paprika
    1 teaspoon dry mustard
    1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon, crumbled
    1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crumbled
    1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
    1 cup vegetable oil
    1 lb red onion, peeled and cut into thin rings
Preparation
    Mix first 11 ingredients in large nonaluminum bowl; whisk in oil in thin stream.
    Add onions and toss well.
    Cover and refrigerate up to 7 days before serving.
