Pomegranate Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cups ketchup
    1/2 small yellow onion, minced
    2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
    1 chipotle chile in adobo, minced
    1 tablespoon adobo sauce
    1 teaspoon sugar
Preparation
    Mix ingredients and simmer for 5-15 minutes to thicken and also blend flavors.
    Allow to cool, then store refrigerated or freeze for later use.
