Green Apple Chutney - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lbs green apples (chopped)
    6 medium onions (chopped fine)
    1 lb seedless raisin
    3 cups brown sugar
    1 pint cider vinegar
    2 tablespoons salt
    2 teaspoons cinnamon
    1 teaspoon ginger
    2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
    1 teaspoon clove
Preparation
    Melt sugar in vinegar in keele.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat until chutney is thick and clear.
    Seal in hot, sterilized jars.
