Scallops With Balsamic Vinegar And Basil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    1 shallot, minced
    1 garlic clove, minced
    12 ounces bay scallops
    1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
    1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
    salt & freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter in medium saucepan over high heat.
    Add shallot and garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until softened, about 2 minutes.
    Add scallops and basil; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
    Add vinegar and heat, stirring constantly, 2-3 minutes.
    Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
