Vanilla Wafer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup butter, softened
    2 cups sugar
    6 eggs
    1 (12 ounce) box vanilla wafers, crushed
    1/2 cup milk
    1 (7 ounce) package flaked coconut
    1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar in bowl.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add vanilla wafer crumbs and milk, mixing well.
    Stir in coconut and pecans.
    Pour into well-greased tube pan.
    Bake at 275\u00b0F for 2 hours or until cake tests done.
