Apple Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 apples, pared and diced
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 lemon, rind of, finely chopped
    3 cups hot water
    1/2 cup red wine or 1/2 cup white wine
    2 tablespoons flour
    2 tablespoons cold water
    1/2 cup heavy cream
Preparation
    Combine apples, sugar, lemon rind, and hot water. Cook until apples are tender. Add wine. Blend flour and cold water. Thin with a few tablespoons of hot soup. Simmer 5 minutes. Chill, and add cream before serving.
