Good Housekeeping'S Braised Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 shallot, chopped
    3 large sage leaves, chopped
    1 cup red wine
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 lb mushroom, halved
Preparation
    Melt butter on medium heat in a 10-inch skillet.
    Add shallots and sage; cook for 2 minutes.
    Add wine, salt and pepper; boil on high for 1 minute.
    Stir in mushrooms; reduce heat to medium.
    Cover; cook for 5 minutes.
    Uncover; cook for 12 minutes or until tender, stirring.
