Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs green beans, cut
    1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
    8 ounces canned mushrooms, drained
    2 tablespoons garlic salt
    2 tablespoons butter
    1/4 cup slivered almonds (optional)
Preparation
    In saucepan add green beans and onion and cover with water.
    Bring to boil and boil until beans and onions are tender, about 10 minutes.
    Drain.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook until flavors are well blended, about 5 minutes.
