Slippery Noodles, Pennsylvania Dutch In Origin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    3 tablespoons Crisco
    1/2 - 3/4 cup hot water
Preparation
    Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl.
    Cut in Crisco as for pastry until it resembles crumbs.
    Stir in enough hot water to make a dough almost the consistency of pie crust.
    Turn onto floured surface, knead briefly and then roll to desired thickness.
    Cut into squares.
    Slip into hot simmering broth one at a time.
    Simmer, uncovered, until tender about 15 minutes.
