Cottage Cheese Fluff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup small curd cottage cheese
    1 (3 ounce) package Jello gelatin, flavor your choice
    1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
    1 cup crushed pineapple, unsweetened, drained
    1/2 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
    8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preparation
    Mix the cottage cheese and jello powder in a small bowl.
    Stir in oranges, pineapple and pecans, if desired.
    Chill.
    Just before serving fold in the whipped topping.
