French Breakfast Muffins (Sugar Top Muffins) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Muffins
    1 1/2 cups flour
    2 tablespoons flour
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    1/2 cup milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, melted
    Topping
    3 tablespoons butter, melted
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 cup white sugar
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add milk, egg, and 1/3 cup melted butter. Mix thoroughly.
    Grease 18 small muffin tins. Fill 1/2 full and bake for 20 minutes.
    Remove muffins from pan immediately. While warm, dip tops of muffins in the 3 tablespoons Melted butter and roll in a mixture of the cinnamon, 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla. Serve warm.
