Spiced Venison Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lbs venison roast
    1 tablespoon bacon fat
    1 tablespoon cinnamon
    1 tablespoon ginger
    2 tablespoons sugar
    2 bay leaves
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon vinegar
    2 cups tomato juice
    2 onions, chopped
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
    Brown roast, in bacon fat, on all sides, in roasting pan.
    Mix remaining ingredients together. Pour over roast.
    Cook 3 hours in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 3 to 4 hours.
