Pear Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium pears, peeled, cored, and sliced
    1 teaspoon grated fresh lemon rind
    2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 tablespoon cornstarch
    1/2 - 1 cup water
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in a container of an electric blender; process until smooth.
    Combine pear mixture, sugar, cornstarch, and water in a medium saucepan.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute.
    Remove from heat; cool.
    Yield: 2 2/3 cups.
