Roasted Cinnamon Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups raw pecan halves
    2 tablespoons unbleached cane sugar
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    1 1/2 tablespoons canola oil
    1 tablespoon real butter, melted
    1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (NOT imitation) or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
    1 pinch freshly grated nutmeg
    1 pinch ground cardamom
    1 pinch ground star anise
Preparation
    Preheat a baking sheet in the oven at 350 degrees.
    In a bowl combine all the ingredients and toss to coat.
    Spread the nuts singly on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the pecans are browned and crispy. Stir nuts occasionally to avoid burning and to roast evenly. *Watch* oven carefully!
    Set baking sheet aside to allow nuts to cool completely. Once cooled, transfer to airtight container.
