Barbecue Meatball Subs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

Sauce
2 cups ketchup
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
Meatballs
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1 egg
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
8 submarine buns
1/2 cup shredded 2% mexican cheese blend (kraft)
Preparation

Combine meatball ingredients and then form into small 1-inch meatballs. Place on baking sheet covered with wax paper and bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until done.
In the meantime, combine the sauce ingredients in large pot and heat over medium-low heat. Add meatballs to sauce once they come out of the oven. Continue to cook on low for 30 minutes.
Put four meatballs inside each sub bun and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
