Tex Mex Vegan Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1 1/2 cups chopped onions
    6 garlic cloves
    2 tablespoons pickled jalapeno peppers, rinsed and squeezed
    1 tablespoon cumin
    2 teaspoons oregano
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 pinch ground cloves
    1 teaspoon ground coriander
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
    2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed and drained
    2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
    2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans sweet corn
    1 ounce baker's chocolate
    1 tablespoon lime juice
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
Preparation
    Saute onions and garlic in olive oil until soft and starting to carmelize.
    Add spices, jalapenos and stewed tomatoes, simmer for 5 minutes.
    Using an immersion blender, grind this mixture until smooth (optional).
    Add beans, corn, chocolate, lime juice & soy sauce.
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
