Zabaione - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks
    4 tablespoons sugar
    8 tablespoons marsala
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
    In top of double boiler, combine all ingredients.
    Place over hot water and beat constantly until frothy, smooth and slightly thick.
    Serve plain or on spong cake.
    Delicious hot or cold.
