Spicy Au Gratin Beef Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb ground beef
1/3 cup finely chopped white onion
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 (5 1/4 ounce) package au gratin potatoes
2 cups boiling water
2/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon melted butter or 1 teaspoon margarine
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F.
In a medium non-stick skillet, over medium heat, add the first 4 ingredients and cook until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender.
Drain if needed.
While meat mixture is browning, boil water.
In a large bowl add rest of ingredients except shredded cheese. Mix well.
Pour into a greased or sprayed 2-quart baking dish.
Cover with lid or foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
