Fennel Pesto - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tablespoon fennel seed
1 cup chopped fennel bulb
1/2 cup parsley
2 garlic cloves
1 ounce walnuts
3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation

Place fennel seeds in small bowl. Pour hot water over to cover. Let stand 10 minutes, then drain.
Process fennel, fennel seeds, parsley and garlic in a food processor or blender until finely chopped.
Add walnuts, 3 tablespoons water and oil. Mix until walnuts are finely chopped.
Stir in Parmesan cheese.
