Betty'S Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 -8 tart baking apples
    1 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    3/4 cup flour
    1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (1 stick)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F.
    Peel and core apples.
    Cut into slices.
    Place in a buttered 9-inch baking dish.
    Combine sugar, cinnamon, flour, and butter.
    Mix with hands until lumps form.
    Pack closely over apples.
    Bake about 1 hour or until bubbly.
