Sarah'S Nutty Coconut Jam Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup butter
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg
    2 cups flour
    1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
    1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    12 ounces preserves
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and egg; mix well.
    Add dry ingredients; walnuts, vanilla and coconut.
    Press 2/3 of dough into a greased 9x13\" pan and spread preserves over the top.
    Crumble remaining dough over preserves. Bake 30 min at 350*.
