Callas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups cooked rice
    1/4 cup milk
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
    3 large eggs, lightly beaten
    1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    oil, for frying
    powdered sugar, for dusting
Preparation
    Place rice in medium bowl.
    drizzle milk over the rice and mash until almost smooth.
    Add next 5 ingredients (vanilla through nutmeg), beat until smooth.
    Fry in hot oil (350\u00b0F) until golden brown, about 2 1/2 minutes, turning once.
    Dust with powdered sugar.
    Serve hot.
