Whole Wheat Banana Pancakes - Low Fat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup skim milk
    1 egg
    2 tablespoons applesauce
    2 bananas, preferably overripe and mashed
    nuts (optional) or raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
    Combine wet ingredients.
    Whisk in dry ingredients.
    Using a 1/4 cup measure drop batter onto a hot frying pan.
    When pancakes begin to bubble flip them.
    Finished when golden on both sides.
