Hearty Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 stalks celery, sliced
    3 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 (32 ounce) cans beef broth
    1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
    1 cup marinara sauce (or your favorite pasta sauce)
    2 teaspoons Italian herb seasoning
    3/4 cup small shell pasta
    prepared basil pesto
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except pasta and pesto in a large stockpot. Bring to a boil;.cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Add pasta and cook uncovered, for 15.minutes longer. Spoon into large bowls and swirl a teaspoon. of pesto into each.
