Chicken & Orzo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
    1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
    29 ounces chicken broth (two cans)
    2 cups orzo pasta
    1 lb chicken breast, diced
    1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
    fresh ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation
    In a deep skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
    Add onion and garlic and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add thyme and broth and bring to a boil.
    Add orzo and chicken and stir.
    Reduce heat to a simmer and cover.
    Cook until liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
    Stir in cheese and black pepper and serve immediately.
