Otaki Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large potatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    4 tablespoons clarified butter
    1 1/4 cups tomato sauce
    salt and pepper
    3/4 cup water
Preparation
    Peel potatoes, if desired, and slice 1/2\" thick.
    Heat butter in a saucepan. Add onion and cook until golden brown.
    Add potatoes, tomato sauce and water. Season to taste.
    Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.
