Fresh Fig Appetizer Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 -12 fresh figs
    4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
    1 vidalia onion, chopped
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 tablespoon honey
    1 baguette or 1 cracker
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until soft, then add chopped fig. Saute to reduce liquid, add honey, and continue until mixture is carmelized.
    Sprinkle with goat cheese.
    Serve on warm baguette or cracker.
